MeisterOk so i have a 99 audi a4 1.8t which just had a nice rebuild after TB jumped blah blah bent valves, anyways its running but i want to chip it.

Its completely Stock 1.8t Automatic
What kind of wheel horsepower would i be looking at?

No idea with APR but I have GIAC on my 00 1.8tqm and I love it. It's known to be the most aggressive tune for the B5 and I definitely enjoy it daily haha.

where can i get a GIAC tune? BTW with apr i know you have to send it out, is it same with GIAC?

You don't have to send the ECU out you just need to take it to a shop that is an APR dealer at least that's how it is with the B6. Go to Giac and APR's website and use the locater to find shops around you that can do what your looking for.Originally Posted by pavlo1994

giac is more aggressive than apr from what i heard, but get it asap. ever since i got chipped its night and day. i started hating my car because it was so slow but when i chipped it i drove around with a smile for like a week straight haha
