Default Picked up my new clutch

It is a FX850 Super Single Sintered Iron drag clutch.

Will be running using a CM Flow Control Valve along with a USP motorsports SS clutch link and Metal slave cylinder kit for this clutch setup to see if I can keep from blowing up 3rd gear in my rebuild cryo/heat treated hybrid 01A transmission.

Well the FCV will slip the clutch when I release the clutch pedal, this softens the engagement of the clutch and the tq shock to the input shaft. Nice thing is that sinterned iron actually holds more power as it heats up. Now to see if 1 single disk will hold up 800+hp. lol

You might be talking about the standard FX850 Twin plate which hits way too hard for a A4 1.8t with the stock 01A transmission. This is a Super Single version which at this time is only made for the A4 1.8t. Dan in the B6 A4 forum has one on his 1.8t, but it is the 6 puck version which I have sold about 5-6 of them so far. Just shipped another one out yesterday.

What's the advantage to the Metal Slave and SS line?

IIRC the Metal Salve is less prone to pop or break and the SS goes from Master to Slave while the stock line has a rubber section.
