Grinding noise?

I took some parts off of my a4 yesterday since i was getting no boost pressure.I realized that when i start my car the turbo spins for about 4 secconds and then gets stuck. Also when the car is off and you try to turn it by hand it makes a grinding noise on the exhaust side? The turbo has no play what so ever. I have a feeling something is stuck inside there but im clueless of what it could even be.
It turns by hand, but at one point it wants to get stuck.

Anyone have a clue to what it could be?

Ill be pulling turbo tomorrow to see whats up, just wanted to hear some input on what it could be..

figured it out last night, had a pece of valve stuck inside

wtf??...you going to open her up and inspect? im curious to see why it happened

Noo, the engine was rebuilt and when the valve broke. I never thought it would go down into the turbo. well it did. So there is the issue.
