Here are some pics, I still need to snap some more!

034 forged rods & ARP rod bolts

I was planning on using a stock intake manifold before I decided to go with the big 2.8L heads, so I painted & cured mine wrinkle red.

Track Density Trans Mounts, bunch of gaskets/fittings etc etc.

Huge AEM dryflow filter... but then I decided to go MAF-less.

GT Inlet Pipes before thermal wrapping

Thermal wrapped w/ stainless steel zipties

I was going to use stock intake manifolds too, so I got them ceramic coated... but then I changed my mind about that as well.

    Red valve covers

Exhaust I was going to use, cigarettes and 60# injectors as well as full stage 3 tune that I never used haha

Getting paint codes and paint samples for a new front bumper, euro rear bumper and trunk.

    Here it is..

Brand new Bailey Motorsport diverter valves that I never used (changed my mind and got the Tial 50mm blow off valve instead)

    AWE Tuning pedals..

Vibrant FMIC good for 900 hp with Tial 50mm BOV (thanks Guruman!)

    Old block being dissembled

Some parts being dropped off at AMS Autowerks..

    Carbon fiber trim done

Stoptechs I got for a slammin' deal, under $500 shipped with like new pads!

    Bosch EV14 100# injectors..

    AEM digital gauges

    Fuel lab fuel pressure regulator

Audi the AMS shop dog rockin' his bling for a while.. and then nap time!

    Slammed M3 at the shop

    2.8L heads from a Passat (56k miles)

    K03, RS4 K04, GT28R's ... I bought the GT2560 aka GT28R eliminators and then sold them too, yeah I know.. I've made a lot of changes haha

Where I stand now with the build:

I'm waiting for my custom Diamond pistons to come in, they should be shipped by Wednesday of this week from Detroit, MI (2 day shipping) so by Friday my block will go to the machine shop to get hot tanked, honed/decked and bored.

I'm also waiting for my Tilton which will be here on Tuesday of this week, and the Tial housings which should be here within the next week.

Other then that, I have everything. The car will be finished by mid-end of March.

I have personally seen this car and met its owner. I just have to add that he might just be the ugliest man I have ever seen. But this is an insane car and I will be stopping by AMS Autowerks to help out with the build when I go home for spring break.

Hurry up with the build Bart, I want to drive the beast already...

Selling my AEM digital boost gauge, goes up to 35 psi. Brand new, never used.

$155 shipped, or $150 picked up. If you have a B5 S4 I'll install it for free, and make you a nice OEM vent pod.

    Nice build.

What kind of quarter time are you expecting with this set up?

Sorry guys, it's been a while since I updated the thread. Pistons finally came in. Also made another major change. Decided on going with the Haltech standalone ECU, as well as a 5 speed trans. After having a long time with USP Motorsports (the guys that went 9's with the VR6 swapped B5 S4), and we've come to the conclusion that on paper, there is no reason for this car not go 9's down the track. Between being able to trap in 4th as apposed to 5th due to the new 5 speed, and the launch capabilities of the Haltech, it's most definitely possible. Any car with good gearing and 800 whp should go 9's!

P.S. sorry about the images being down (some of them), they are hosted on my Facebook. I'll be transferring them to my website shortly. Here are the new Diamond 82.5mm pistons, skirts are coated. These pistons feature a new design vs the old JE/Diamond/Vast pistons.

this car is getting pretty crazy. Ever get to drive it? Must drive you nuts having this ongoing monster build.

Does guruman know he has a target on his back? Also, are you running full interior, or is that out the window? Probably need a cage for these traps...?

What's up man? Yeah I know, it's been taking a while but in all fairness, waiting for parts was the longest part of the process. Got pretty much everything I need to put the car back together. In all fairness, Dom (Guruman's) car had a messed up turbo. His car had a lot more in it, but the plan is to take this car to a level beyond his. I will be rocking a full interior though.

I plan on doing some preliminary runs at the NYIRP (new york international raceway park) up here where I go to school (Rochester, NY). I know the guys at the track so I won't need a cage/chute.

After I'm satisfied with the results (a 9.99 is sufficient) I'll be at waterfest and do my 1 run there!

Hey sorry for the delayed response. I still have the heads if you want them, I actually have 2 sets of 2.7 heads. Here are the ones that came off my car. They have like 30k original miles on them. I cleaned them up a bit too.
