    Default Anyone have an extra trans?

    Well my trans is completely gone. My shop said it had a leak and i drove with it so it burnt everything up as well as other thigns. Its a lot cheaper to get another trans then to rebuild my current one. That being said, does anyone have a manual trans for sale or know of anyone selling one? Pref. 2002, or already rebuilt with the stronger 1/2 collar and syncros.

    I already called the guy in orange nj and he said he can warranty it for 3 months.. and it came out of a low mileage a6 so its a better chance it wasn't beaten on.

    Yeah I deff agree that It has a much lower chance of being beaten on.. Especially on a low mileage car, prob was a sunday cruiser.

    I saw an 01E on craigslist near me for $500 the other day. Needed a rebuilt due to the common 1-2 shift collar issue. Let me see if I can find it.
