I'm sure it's his tune. That red line is from the factory, most (if not all) tunes remove the red line inhibitor that would stop him from being able to go that high.

That was FAST. Do you have any work done valvetrain wise or does the car just happily spin along at those RPMs?(please pardon my b5 ignorance )

Nevermind, I just realized it's not not your car. Nice vid find anyway thanks.
Extensive mod list, including license plate, license plate lights (led), the unappreciated rattling quarter behind ashtray door mod.
Last but not least the locked AND empty glove-box due to hinges that are about to break (weight saving)
Races? Of course, I win them all!

Dammit I love b5 s4's!!!! that thing is nuts, on pump gas no less! Does anyone with a little more knowledge on these motors know if they'll even rev that far, that quick without some internal work?
I looked at their website and that kit could go up to 650hp, I'd say this car is probably pushing that limit!

I don't want to bring this OT, so look in the tt forum for another insane one I just found

kinda mindblowing what those GT kitted cars can do. The violence in the gear change is telling.

I believe that car has full built heads and motor, the ARD kit is now available from VAST, probably JHM. Dave, k04's will give you a taste, but the GT kits are amazing, the prices are coming down, but still 2-3 times more than K04

Fully built heads is what allows a safe 8k+ rpm redline.

Those heads are built with Supertech parts, which sucks. Anyway, upgraded valve springs allow you to rev to and past 8k without valve float. Other then that, you just need to raise the rev limiter through the ECU.

I distinctly remember that car running 11.9 @ 131. However, sakimano mentioned its probably a bunch of the driver mod coming into play.

The twin GT28rs/GT2871r setups need to be ran to 8k-8500 just to make good power, this is because the turbos dont really hit full boost till 5k-5500 rpms.

I drove the Eurocode GT car for the 2007 Eurotuner GP and ran 10.8 on all season tires, that car was pushing 32psi on race gas making around 650whp.

Still a bit slow compared to my little A4 1.8t. lol

    Thats Alex's car.

Built 2.8L bottom end and Built 2.7L heads w/ full RS4 upper intake parts.

If I remember him saying so correctly.

I believe it was Built by EPL and has Vast just doing the tuning.
