    impressive, can't wait to see some serious info be posted up on it and see that thing hauling. I'd always wondered about a single turbo conversion for the B5's. I know size in a constraint, but man you could really go through the roof on the upper end with a big spooling turbo!

    I don't know, the 4094 isn't all that huge.. seems about the right size for a 2.7L that can build some revs (built head).

    Hell, the 4.2 should do well with a single GTX4508R anywhere between 10psi and 20psi.


    It ends up coming down to cost, you could get two $2k+ small frame BW EFR's or GTX's or any other high-spec billet wheel turbo... or you can get one $2.5k large frame high spec turbo and then build a twin scroll manifold for it.


    I personally would prefer a single large frame turbo with a twin scroll manifold, it's too bad the B6 engine bays would limit that with a 4.2... though the C5 may be better off

    wow i haven't been on this site in forever. To answer this question...Time. Mike Z just doesnt have the time to tune all this fancy one-off cars we make so with Standalone you can at least call in a schedule a tuner like Kevin Black, Chris Miller, or maybe even Jeff Atwood (to name few).
