I'm not too into the German performance scene, but I'm starting to like the B5 (right? euro newb here) S4's more and more. I think its the boosted V6 noise . Nice numbers btw.

What is going on with the power curve between 3500 and 4250?? Was the car boost spiking through that rpm range and finally settling after?

What did he have for fuel? I think he may want to get a hold of VAST and see what they think. Maybe have him run a few logs so they can see how the car is doing health wise.

O2 sensor, maybe a boost leak, bad knock sensor?

Something does seem a bit off with those curves. A buddy of mine hit 360/380 whp/wtq on a dyno dynamics with custom tune, piggies and I believe RS4 ICs. His lines were much smoother than those so I'm with beemercer, maybe a boost leak, fueling issues etc.

well, the HP is low, the torque is normal

    the hp line looks like a carboned up RS4 up past 5000 (or a non-tuned B8 S4)

Yeah, I don't know the torque delivery is kind of jacked up, I wouldn't put too much weight on this graph. The best you can say is its not too far off what it should be.

Edit: Didn't realize these are corrected values which puts the values further from what you'd expect. I'd say unless there is some sort of mechanical failure (clutch slipping) something is off with the air metering and/or fuel delivery. If it were my car, I'd be checking for boost leaks and checking logs.

the tuner said the boost was all over the map, so me thinks there is a leak somewhere.
but if there was a leak, wouldnt the tq be lower?

What is your elevation, who is the tuning through? And CSM you post some logs? Those numbers are low regardless of the dyno.

this is also an out of the box tune......
getting a custom Tune in spring time, this was just a starting point for numbers

my numbers on my STi were low also. i ran 268 awhp, when i should be around 300
    so the dyno reads low

ill ask if he has some logs
