    d-shot I think maybe is the guy's username who owns the car? I could be wrong.

    Just wondering if anyone has any information, as the audizine mods keep deleting posts when people ask about it (sponsors after all )

    I've heard that one of the stock pistons failed, I'm not on the B5 forums enough to know more than that

    Stock Pistons and 40psi don't go very well together is what I heard.

    40? I thought they were making a gazillion whp on low boost...despite the video showing the boost gauge way up there

    stock internals. That's good for a laugh. I guess the curtain has been pulled back? Or are people still getting fooled with this shit?

    stock pistons. rods were upgraded. limits of stock pistons hadn't really been explored, but now there is a better idea obviously.

    ah ok, i would find it very strange without upgrading some internals running 40psi

    That motor had everything you could possibly do to it besides pistons and a 3.0L crank. There was easily 15k in the motor alone.

    Why do all that work and not do a full race build with pistons and crank? Doesn't make sense.

    It all depends on the goals behind the build. They chose not to and it worked fine for many many miles. That motor probably had well over 15,000 miles on it as it was driven all over the west coast for months.
