Default B6 S4 Center Console swap.

Hey guys, hopefully some of you may have the ability to chime in on the matter.
i have a 04 S4. I've done a ton of research regarding a b7 centre console being swapped into the b6 platform however the majority of swaps take place amongst the a4 platform as opposed the the S4.

The main reason for the post is, i know just by reading and searching that the b7 console will fit no problem but how does it work for us guys with the nav input controls? or is there a different console design to meet the needs. I am looking to replace my current console due to lack of age & the paint slowly peeling away, plus the added feature of two functional cup holders seems to be a great idea as well.

    any help would be appreciated!

I do not believe any of the B7 consoles came with the cluster based navigation controls. Are you trying to integrate these controls into the B7 console? Not sure if it can be done by simply popping them into place as i doubt any B7 console has a space to accommodate them.

Yes! i was trying to incorporate the controls into the b7 console. however by the looks of most of the DIY swaps, there isn't much room anywhere. was looking for a spot to potentially fab them into.

I'd like to attempt to try this as well but i also have the old school Nav controls. I was thinking of eventually getting the RNS-E I wonder if you could just hide the Nav controls under the B7 center console....?
