Default Clutch go bye-bye! I think!

Took off from a stop sign... about 1500k drop and then loud thud/clunk and car no move... Clutch pedal felt normal though... Not real stiff like many report... Tried every gear... 5 and 6 you could hear weird friction like maybe the flywheel and clutch were slightly rubbing against each other... idk, having the car towed in the dealer in the morning!!! They are gonna arse rap me on $$$$$$$

Glad it turned out to be an axle, but damn how did you manage to snap one of those?

Ok so $399.95 plus a $200.00 core charge for the rear axle.... Dealer only... Fronts are cheap and easy to find... Rears not so much... After thinking about this. I think the axle was damage a few months ago when I took it to the track... It just finally let go...

How much does a new OEM clutch kit and OEM flywheel cost?

Dealer will install for free while my engine is out, I just have to buy the parts.

Why not just let the dealer do the fix, since you have to get the parts from them anyway and they already had the car?

No i ended up towing it home... Did some looking around a found the shaft hanging.... Dummy me! But dealer would have wanted another 400 for labor... the Job was pretty simple took me about 3 hrs to do!

I would personally do an upgrade while it is out vs going with a new OEM.

Nah, done that before and regretted it. Besides there was no time to do the research and import one, as the dealer was doing the labor.
