    Default B8 S4 Calipers/B7 S4 Rotors Installed.

    Thanks again to Phil at Detailer'sDomain for going above and beyond hooking me up with a complete set of B8 S4 calipers/carriers/rotors/pads. Unforunately we learned after that B8 rotor hat offset on the rotors, do not match up with B7/B6 hubs, so I had to resort to B7 S4 rotors. In the picture shown is a B7 S4 plain rotor I "test" fitted, due to no pictures being taken tonight when the final install was complete with the wheels back on. With the stock 5 spoke 17" wheels, about 4mm of clearance between the wheel & caliper. In the end, I went from OEM B6 A4 front calipers and rotors to B8 S4 calipers and B7 ECSTuning drilled/slotted rotors.

    Final install... 288x25 front rotors to 345x30.

    Brian, this car will always be slow no matter what. No plans on motor modifications.

    Thanks Joey, it was definately close, but I triple & quadrouple checked all my calculated dimensions before this, so mathematically it was going to work, that's for sure!

    3 days on the brakes. When I make right hand turns only, my brake light comes on flashing with 3 beeps. Very strange. Any ideas?

    Actually it's way over the MAX mark on the stick, so maybe there isn't enough room for expansion. Guess I shouldn't pour in brake fluid in the dark after bleeding the brakes. Still don't know why the Emergency brake light would flash only when I turn the wheel right, not left.

    Well I pulled the wheels tonight & checked all the brake lines. Still get a flashing E-brake light only when making right turns. Brake fluid has been fine, not that. Someone mentioned my E-brake cable could have become hung-up on something. I was thinking it's a speed sensor, but whoknows. Scanned the car and no codes. Very strange to have the "brake" flash and beep only when driving the car making right turns, not when it's straight or turning left.
