Default Best way to Lower my Audi

Hi im new to this forum and I'm dying to lower my car, I have a 2003 Audi A4 B6 FWD, should i go with springs or coils? I dont know a HUGE amount about suspension but I wanna see what the best course of action to lower my car would be?

Oh and Im looking for a slammed low look, not performance, I dont mind it not being amazingly smooth, I wanna be low though.

    Thanks so much

    heres my stock suspension

If you want to go low the best way to do it would be to buy coilovers so u can set t where you want, mostlikely a spring package wont go low enough for what u want.

I dont know how I would go about cutting my stock springs...

and how much for the Coils?

I know that coils are adjustable, but I wont get a nice drop with a 60/40mm set of springs?

the cutting the springs was a joke, ur ride quality would suffer greatly
coils arent that expensive used, PM Justin I am sure he has got a good price for his
and you would be lower (than stock) with a set of springs but if you are going to for looks the extra couple of hundred bucks for used coilovers will allow you to adjust the ride height to exactly where you want it
A lot of people say they arent going to change the ride height once they set their coilovers so you should go springs rather than set it and forget it, but if you got springs and u want the front a little lower there is nothing u can do

Also, look into getting adjustable upper control arms to get rid of camber as lowering these cars introduces a lot of it and you will go through tires rather quickly!

Ditto on the used coilovers. That way if you upgrade the wheels later you can fine tune everything.

ST coils. There was a special for them. 700$ shipped.

They are in essence KW's with a yellow zinc housing instead of a stainless steel housing.

I wouldn't skimp out on suspension since it has such a large affect on how the car rides and handles. Get yourself a set of proper shocks and springs, or a entry level coilover setup from a reputable brand. None of that ST/Vmaxx/ BS.
