Yup, OEM alcantara RS4 wheel, knob, & ebrake handle...just got em in a week ago

I'm planning on posting a more in-depth build thread over here...I've been slacking since it's alot of stuff to put together

Not too much good footage with that one (sans an s2k spinning out in front of me...) I usually just take video so I can see what the suspension/wheel/tire is doing under certain situations...call it 'nerd footage', haha. I keep a few little clips here and there from various runs and will probably make a compilation one of these days...

Throwin up some pics of me summar setup. Ishty cell phone pics after a tedious hand wash.

RF62's (19x8.5 et 32) Anthracite Gray with 15mm H&R spacers all around. (43mm Bolts)

PS3's in 255.35.19. rubbed over deep bumps before I took out the central fender liner fastener, we'll see if that persists now that they're gone.


FYI the 62's are a forged wheel and supposedly weigh 19ish lbs. I weighed them with the PS3's on and they were a pound or so lighter 48-49 lbs. than the stocks with verdestein wintracs on (same size). So either the ps3's are heavy or the 62's arent as light as they say (which I don't think) And for those of you who may remember, yes, these are wheels and tires i bought from crafty, a former RS driver who was on EA when he head his.

I plan on doing some real shots some time this spring, but here's the quick and dirty:

Looks nice, but I am surprised you were rubbing...

Since I took out the fender liner fastener, I have not rubbed at all. The edge of the front wheels are dead flush with the fender, and the ps3's are a pretty round sidewall. We'll see if I rub again over a big bump, but so far so good.

Yep, been driving around for the past few weeks. Can't believe we have yet another NOR'EASTER bearing down on us. WTF? Guess I'll have to hold off on buffing it until next week. Picked up a few goodies from Phil @ detailers domain.
