I have the e-codes installed and the car looks so much better now. I have not taken any pictures yet as the weather here in the east coast has been shitty for the last two weeks.
ECS took some photos at H20 and I saw them on vwvortex H20 section. I will try to bring them over. They had great equipment but the photos could have been better.
You have yours installed? Let see it!
How are you enjoying your new (cb free) RS 4?
Saw the pics, looks great with the chrome stripe.
Blake and I were installing mine the other week when we realized one of mine had some broken tabs on the inside so we abandoned the mission. Alex is sending me a new one and we should get them installed soon along with my color matched side mirrors. I just installed my 19x10 rotiforms as well, so far no problem running the 285s.
Loving the car post carbon clean. It really does rev quicker and feels much smoother throughout the rev band.
seen this on the internetz...

^ E-codes cleaned her right up.
I will take better pics soon. Maybe over this weekend.
^Thanks buddy, if only she would move a little better.
Cant wait to finally get her cleaned up!

Koolade- You have one of the sexiest RS4's out there. You are in the right direction and your car looks better every time you touch it.
Ibis is the only color that could look awesome in Ti and alum package. If I were in your shoes I would have a difficult time deciding.
I wonder what my wheels would look like on your car? wow
I'll risk feeling a dweeb if I missed it, but what is the spec of wheels and tires?
Looks great of course.
I had considered both those options as well. To me the 275 on this particular set-up would have been too little a tire. Rubbing was another concern that had to be factored in. I could have went with a PS2 which have rounder side walls but not so good for the track.
In the end I decided to go RE-11 which are more squarish with taller side walls and a better fit for the occasional track day.
Happy with the setup right now. Re-11/Stasis ms/stern aca's/h&r rear sway bar have drastically improved the feel of this car. I think I might go for the hotchkis 29mm rear sway bar next spring. I want to get the car out the track first and really push it to see if a change is indeed needed.
BTW- I haven't seen you around the boards for a while. Still got the RS?

Yep, RS is here, not been foruming much though, can be expensive, re: your tempting setup
Had a carbon clean at 20k, heads off job too, dealer was good.
I like the idea of the rear sway bar. My son tracks his cars and it's the first thing he changes, so having experienced the difference with/without on a couple of cars it seems a good thing. Have KW V3s already.
Thanks for the follow up, appreciated! Wife like the wheels too and that is a tricky hurdle to cross for sure.

My car is at AWE getting a baseline dyno and then off to dealer for cb clean.
The guys at my dealer do a great job as well and last time I had it cleaned it very much reminded me of when I took the car out of the showroom.
I did some vagcom logs and my tq is dropping off rather quick at 6250 and my 3-8k wot runs in 3rd gear are ~1 SECOND (thnx T) slower than a clean RS4.
I will post before/after dyno here to discuss.
I am eagerly awaiting for the JHM tune as well and then I "believe" I am close to done.
I am glad your wife is warming up to a set of new wheels. Once you're on KW's or stasis you almost have to go with a more aggressive offset or spacers.

Mick,
I don't have the LW/FW clutch yet. I will wait until the stocker gives way.
I have the hood coming but I doubt I will do the fenders/bumper. I like the front as it is right now.
I would like to do a euro interior and then lay low and turn my attention elsewhere. By next spring I will be looking at an R8V10 or R8v8TT.
Car looks great. Stance is perfect. Well done.
-Matt-
2011 CTS-V
do I have your power/LW mods right here
tune - not yet
brakes - BBK (are the rotors same weight as stock?)
wheels - ADV forged wheels (what do they shave, per corner vs. stock?)
downpipes - stock and fully catted?
exhaust - muffler swap, stock catback otherwise
cheers
Car is turning out REAL good.
These are the ALL the mods done to the car:
{I should post these in original post as well}
No tune yet.
Stock cats.
ADV.1 forged aluminum wheels. ADV claims they come in at 18-21lbs.
Capristo exhaust. Not sure weight difference but must lighter esp. without the huge stock center resonator.
Alcon BBK- I have to ask Mick the exact difference in weight on these. He had posted that somewhere.
265/35/19 RE-11. Heavy suckers but grippy!
Stasis MS. For sure lighter than stock CrapRC. I actually gutted out the WHOLE DRC system. Also removed all the washer jets/pumps and all the plumbing for the headlights.
Stern Adjustable control arms.
SilverSpeed Port/Polish IM.
H&R rear sway bar.
Apikol Rear diff mount.
Coming soon: Tune, LW battery, K&N filter, JHM/034 MAF hose.
Some other big$$/little-no return mods for those interested..
TT-RS FBSW
Full interior Tunerdome LED lights,
E-codes
Escort 9500ci/LI Quad combo. Both integrated in the rear view mirror.
Silver front bumper splitter and the notorious silver rear valance.
I might be forgetting something but that is basically it.

Does the Papaya car have black rear rings?
damn that's one badass rs4. love the color. can i have your old brake system?
^^what do RS4 fronts sell for?
Seems like lots of RS4 guys go bigger...and that would be an awesome kit for an S4 owner. OEM 6 piston brembos.
Manny,
Maybe you said this but I literally don't have 5 mins to look lol... how horrid is the scrapping on your car?
It's been awhile. Any updates on this build?
Also wondering if you had to do any fender rolling to fit these wheel/tires?(sorry if I missed it) I'm assuming not, with 265's.
Beautiful car btw!
