Manny, your car is absolute biggens! I f'n love the mods, it sits just right, the wheels look perfect, the suspension (both the MS & the Stern) must make it feel like it should have out of the factory and the brakes are top notch too. Kudos bud.

^ I've also installed the H&R rear sway bar and that has totally helped the feel of the car going hard in to turns.

I will post some updated photos with e-codes that cleaned the front up quite nicely.

When we finally gtg you can take it out for a ride and lets the mods speak for themselves. These brakes are phenomenal!

    Thanks

Perhaps two of the most difficult decisions I had to make.

Those who know me understand how much I like to keep everything looking original. If you look at the original post you will see I cut my tips of the stocker to retain the "signature" oval look. When I saw the silver valance prior to the tips installed I absolutely hated it. Also when I purchased the capristo I knew I had to do something about the look of those tips as well.

But when combined they looked really good together. I know for a fact I would not like those tips with the black valance. I decided to go with it for a few weeks and make a decision. Now I love the look especially when the billet aluminum tips expand when hot.

Something you got to witness in person.

    Thanks!

Good point with the capristo tips. Contrast is always good. I love the color of your car, but still a bigger fan of the sprint blue personally hehe, but yours is one that doesn't get old and not as much attention.

Actually the MihokS5 posted it there and promised me better pics so I can start a thread here.

We both got crazy busy and never pulled it off so... being that I don't post on AZ that much I figured I would share the build here with like-minded folks.

The build will continue on so check in once and again.

I saw Manny's car at Winner a couple of weeks ago. Definitely looks and sounds great. Let me know if there's a get together anytime soon, I'll definitely be there.

Yeah its not happening for 18k.

That would go in to an R8 V10 before it goes to APR... and after seeing how well the JHM S/C S4 did vs. the VF/S4 I believe the JHM offering might be better all around for the RS.

what's bigger than a supercharger from JHM that has room to go 700hp?

p.s. FKING WIN! That's a ten out of ten. What do those wheels weigh?

I really haven't researched JHM that much but people keep raving about them on the forum. I tried searching for the RS4 tune but wasn't able to find anything on the website. I only found the tune for the S4.

    Saki-

Those are forged aluminum wheels which ADV.1 claims come in at 19-21lbs.

I tried to scale them at the dealer but their scale was not calibrated and read 24lbs.

I can't think of any offering that can produce anything close to 700hp but I also assume internals would have to be upgraded etc and I am not looking to go through that big a headache. Not on this car anyway.

The JHM tune is not finalized yet it is in its latest phase.

Once they make it available to flash Richibi86 will be able to provide it to us.

    Stay in touch.

Awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing the build pics, Manny.

I hadn't realized that you had the oval tips on there with the painted valence before the Capristo install.

    Brian-

That was the original direction. Paint valance and see it with the ovals on then if it did not look good I would go back to black.

The tips would not fit on the capristo without heavy modifying to both something I was not willing to do to this exhaust. So... thats how I gave the capristo tips a chance and the rest is history.

I am pretty happy with the outcome.

I'm amazed how many RS4's are in the Delaware area. Nearly everytime I bring mine in to Winner there's one leaving or coming in.

    that's awesome

I live in a town where Audi does really well, and I never see them. There is a black one in town (town of 100,000...with tons of Audis)

    I see more R8s and F430s here.

Winner Audi stays busy with the RS4's/R8's. They get all of Delaware but also the surrounding PA/NJ area which cross over for no sales tax, better rates and a winner gang that loves to see these cars fulfill their potential.

Most of the RS4's I have seen here are coming to the beach from Baltimore area etc.

Are any of you guys considering COI? I should start a new thread on that.
We can stroll on up together.
