if you overdrive the tires, of course you'll crash.

PLus, these are consumer tires.... not the super thin studded tires you see in WRC

I think you need to understand the German commentary prior to that to understand why he says that .

The driver apparently was driving a little bit too enthusiastically. Hence his apologies when the wheelman replies. "It's your car" do his apology.
