This is not about the car not being able to produce impressive hp numbers or something in those lines, it`s about me moving on as an individual and getting past the "tuning fever" . I`ve been thinking about this for some time now and I`ve come to the conclusion that I need to move on.
I`m going to start parting out with different parts of the car to recover some of my investment.
Some of you might know the extent of the mods to the car, some might not .
For those that do not I`m going to try and remember all the stuff I`ve put on the car. I`m going to do my best to describe the parts but if there`s anything you can`t find in the description don`t hesitate to ask.
First off the easy stuff :
1) LW front pulley . This was covered in a thread some time ago . Here it is
RS4 lightweight crank pulley
This is going to be the pulley that has been on my car for the last 10 k km.
I obviously haven`t had any problems with it. Although this is best described as "used" it`s not a consumable in the sense that any wear because of use is negligible. The rs4 pulley is balanced by itself which means it doesn`t balance the crankshaft (as is the case with the s4) . That means that as long as you don`t screw up the balancing part you`re all set . Also the "damper" (or is it dampener ??? ) on the oem pulley is a thin ring of rubber between the 2 parts of the pulley , not a complicated hydraulic damper like on some other cars. The pulley only runs the alternator. The last part is for people scared that removing a damper from the rotating assembly might damage something. (People have been running the JHM un-damped lw pulley for some time and 0 problems so far) .
Asking 300 usd shipped.
2) Polished/ported intake manifold.
This is also a part best described as "used". It has been on my car.
This is half-way ported in the sense that only the intake runners have been ported/polished, the vanes haven`t been removed .
This probably has both the flap actuator arms broken and repaired (as is my last recollection of it) but they worked flawlessly on my car in that condition. One of the flap position sensors is faulty and the other has been sitting on a shelf for some time so you`d be a smart guy to use the ones on your oem manifold. The trick with the runners is to have constant runner area on it`s entire length and removing any casting marks, anything that impedes flow. That`s what I`ve been trying to achieve with the porting. So no point removing material unless it produces a gain and it would probably be bad for flow to remove too much material. Polishing works in our case , we`re fsi (gdi) which means we don`t need turbulence in our intake tract.
I can also offer the manifold with removed flaps and replacement plugs that have a shoulder and thread so they don`t drop into your engine. Alternatively they can be welded in and ground down . Your pick.
This is the actual manifold , not an exchange service.
Asking 700 eur for the manifold (seeing as to the fact that an oem manifold is 1200 eur and the service would normally cost you 550-500 usd) .
This is without shipping.
3)Launch control module.
Wot-box to be more accurate. This requires splicing into the cars wiring harness. I would provide instructions on how to do this.
Asking 150 usd shipped. This is for the wot-box with wot-shifting capability and launch control . You would probably need a harness from n2mb racing (shouldn`t be expensive, in the range of 20 $ ).
Here`s a vid of how it works :

4)Brake disc hats. These are great if you want to get 380 mm discs but also have 18 inch winter wheels. Keep your oem set with 365 mm discs in the summer and slap a set of 380 mm discs on these hats (as JHM only supplies the hats) . I definitely have the fronts but I would need to check for rears.
Asking 200 usd . Shipping not included and I have not weighed them.
Thinking about the rest right now.
