    Question JHM questions

    Hi! I'm new here! I'm thinking about supercharging my Rs4. The obvious choice would be the APR kit but as it turns out that the JHM is working on a supercharger kit as well? The questions are:
    Is there any latest news of the development? When is it due?
    I also read somewhere about some "magical" solution to the carbon build up again by JHM. Any info on that?
    Thanks!

    Welcome. Post pics of your car when you get a chance.

    While many of us have similar questions, I think your best bet is to call or email JHM directly. This way you'll hear the info from the horses mouth.

    The APR blower kit is definitely a good option, by far the best roots based offering out there but while APR was happy with the 11.8 they ran JHM is aiming for low 11's with their centripetal kit at most likely a significantly lower price point. I believe they started mocking up a bracket about a month ago.

    Carbon buildup solution is in testing on Dan@JHM's RS4, once they get a good amount of miles on it and a confirmed elimination of carbon buildup it will probably be released to a few customers for further testing.

    Looking forward to the release of these products. Especially the carbon build-up issue. That would be huge if they found a solution for it. I'd image every RS4 owner would be all over that

    OP if i were you i would go with the JHM tune and exhaust in the meantime until their supercharger kit is released. you'll be within spitting distance of the APR time with a blower all at a much much lower price point. Ive been in an APR blown RS4 and while it was a riot, an N/A JHM car is right there with it.

    Thanks =)
    I will post the pics as soon as I get my camera fixed.
    The car is sprint blue with regular Tubi axleback. Nothing special =)
    I see you have the Tubi Rumore version? How loud is it? Have you got any videos?
    I'm not sure the JHM will give all the secrets via email. Guess we'll have to wait! =)

    Didn't know there was an exhaust for Rs4 from JHM. What's it like?

    2.75" X-pipe exhaust with Sebring mufflers. Entirely a JHM design sound and all. Having heard one in person, i have to say its a rather stirring experience.
    very exotic sounding piece.
