    Default T4 Diveded 4:1 Collectors

Before everybody gets too excited, I'll let you know I won't be sharing many details of what we've been up too since last winter - we're giving EuroTuner the exclusive on the project, and expecting a big write up when we're done (done means time slips or it didn't happen )

I will confirm the rumor that this is the RS6 motor into an RS4 swap. Check out the June, July, and upcoming EuroTuner magazine Garage Projects section for the details that are public knowledge so far

However, no magazine can spare the space for a complete write-up of a project of this scope, so I'll definitely share tons more once that issue is gone from the stands. Please be patient. You can probably infer from these that we're not going half way on this project. The final turbo selection for my build is a pair of BW EFR twin scroll 70/64, .92 A/R. We're looking to make 3PSI at around 1800RPM, and hold 35PSI almost to red line ...maybe a little lower pressure if the heads flow better than projected (not that I'd be complaining about better flow).

These are a pair of T4 divided flange 4:1 collectors, investment cast in stainless from CAD. We couldn't find them anywhere (plenty of T3, but no T4 ), so we had them made by a prototype house.
If there's enough interest in a group buy, I'll make the tooling investment to produce these in volume. However, I'd be looking at a minimum production of 100 collectors, so tell your friends to PM if interested. These are ideal 2 at a time on V8 motors, or even suitable as a single for a screaming 1.8T

Nice and dark - not aluminum

Mill finish flange - you'd want to get that surface ground after you finish making your headers.

As-cast inside surface is smooth enough for government work. Not much you can do to extrusion hone stainless - the metal is too hard for the mud to cut it. However, with back-purge and a pro TIG welder, you really don't need to hone headers.

So, I'm not advertising these or anything, but if I get enough encouragement I will look into both volume production and supporting EA more directly

Definitely Beem - if I get the kind of times we're engineering toward, I'll need a lot of witnesses for anybody to believe it

I need to get all the parts of the PES kit together and sell them. I've been too busy with other stuff lately, but I'm sure (at a 2nd hand price) that the kit could make somebody very happy.
