    Default what's with the S-line badges on B8 S4s?

I saw a B8 S4 with an A4 s-line badge on the side (front fender)

At least I thought it was. Turns out it was a supercharged badge.

What's the point? People are ripping off the 3.0T badge, and replacing it with a supercharged badge Is this common?

I've seen it on A6's as well.

weird. I like the 3.0T. Sticks with the brand standard for 'special' cars. i.e. V8 on S4/RS4, V10 on S6/S8 etc.

I don't remember S4/RS4/S6/S8/RS6 owners taking the badge off in favour of a bigger showier one that said 'turbocharged' or 'naturally aspirated'.

Sak, Like Richi and beemercer said it is a port installed option and IMO fits the car better since most people think of the "T" to stand for turbo, and with the car supercharged it seems to fit more.... I also believe they are standard on the A6.... I have the CF ones and think they look good although I do think about debading it sometimes....

Any update on the header install Richi?

It didn't say 3.0T, it said V6T and looked goofy. I had the dealer remove mine before i picked it up but then ordered the supercharged badge when they became available maybe 6 mos later or something. Now you can get "supercharged" or the V6T from the dealer.

Not a big fan of the red version. Maybe only on ibis it is ok.

A6 came with it originally, in CF.

S4 comes with V6T, many MY10 owners replaced it with the A6 CF badge.

Now Audi offers it as a Port Installed option (for $250 LOL) you can get the CF one, but they also started sourcing red ones, which are only bought aftermarket now, but is an Audi part.
