    Few more in the bag.

These two are the the first ones that we were able to do in the rig that held vacuum after we closed the loop and turned off the pump.

We tried a lot of different things like quick connects, different ball valves and couplers, and nothing seemed to work. But we finally got it. Being able to remove the system from the pump will not just allow us to make parts without running the vacuum for hours on end, but now we can build multiple rigs, run one on the vacuum for 30 seconds, close it off, and move on to another one. This should speed up production considerably.

But we are still learning and making a few mistakes here and there. This piece did not conform correctly and will have to be ripped apart and redone.

First few have been trimmed and sanded, I should have clearcoated pictures before the end of the week.

All trimmed and sanded. Just needs a quick wetsand and its ready to go for clearcoat:

Nice clean edges. This was one of the main advantages of vacuum bagging the parts, making sure they were nice and tight around the edges for a good fit.

    Just for Cory.

After the first round of clearcoat. It will get two more and then all the little imperfections will be wetsanded and polished out.

I'd have to see it installed. IDEA: I can be a test dummy.

I think it would look great. No idea why Audi didn't do something nicer with those pieces, especially on the S4. If you're interested, I can certainly make a set for you in any fabric you wanted. 20oz 2x2 twill would look super nice.

Made a detailed blog post on how I made the molds for future vent and MMI pieces.

A LOT more pictures and info here
