Aftermarket Wheel Question

I've been going through some of the B8 A4 wheel threads over on AZ, and of course am already pretty familiar with those who have changed out their wheels on their B8 S4's, and the general style seems to be a flush faced wheel. Can the B8 successfully pull off a wheel with a lip? What do you guys think? I realize that there are certain weight, fitment, and strength advantages to each type of wheel, but this is more of an aesthetic question than a performance one. I'm considering a 20" step lip rim but debating on whether or not the lines on the B8 will compliment that style of wheel. Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

Edit: For reference, I'm looking at something similar to Nght&Day-B8's setup (sans the blue centers)
