As far as this thread is concerned Saki saying they wont be doing much for the B8 at this time is as valid as anyone who says they will.
saki never claimed to speak on JHM's behalf. He was just smart enough to figure it out by analyzing what JHM have officially said they were working on.

In the past JHM has always been good with giving the customers a preview of whats going on at the shop and what they are working on. They also work on cars they own to do their own in house testing / fabrication.

So lets see, they own a B6 S4, and RS4, and a 3.0 A4..... But they dont own a B8 S4.... I wonder what they could be working on. Ugh wish a spokesperson could give us some form of official communique to make sense of all this.

I asked if I was reading wrong, fortunately you contradicted yourself as you often do by saying "The B8 guys have a reputation" which I understand may not account for ALL B8 owners but when you word it like that it does. Im sure plenty of B8 owners would take offense to that statement although I know you and I both understand that there are small groups of ignorant owners of all platforms of all makes and models. You just take this shit so seriously, (why I dont know, no life maybe?) that you make these stupid comments everytime CERTAIN aftermarket tuners are mentioned and you sound like such a dick that whoever youre defending loses credibility in the process.

I know JHM is a great awesome company that does wonderful things for whichever platform they touch. I also know they are smart enough to NEVER consider you as a spokesperson for the work they do so please stop making comments like:

I talk to the JHM guys once in a while and since 2 of my closest friends have B8 S4s, I've asked a bunch of times what they're doing for the B8. That's how.

I am not clueless on the 4.2 at all.

Guess you cant read too good. My statements are facts. The 4.2 engine STOCK is seriously slow and underpowered as JHM has showed by making quality parts for you guys, but if little things like intake spacers, correctly made exhausts, and tunes for an NA motor make such a huge difference for your car than it had a shitty (prob cause of regulations) tune from the factory.

You know all about 'the 4.2' do you? I think if you did, you'd know that the S4, S5, RS4/RS5 all have entirely different engines. Again, I don't give a fuck about the B8 because I don't own one. Again, it's a great car and I always recommend it to people who have $50,000+ burning a hole in their pocket because in that $50k new car segment, there's nothing better. I just know that when some monkey makes a stupid uneducated comment about other platforms, I'm going to be all too happy to let him know what a monkey he just made of himself. I love how your B8 is leaps and bounds ahead of all the other cars. That's awesome. I don't think RS4 and RS5 owners agree with you on that one, so you'll have to forgive me for not trusting you. You will also have to forgive me for knowing that the modified RS4s out there kick the shit out of the modified B8 S4s, and the STOCK RS5 does pretty well too. And for knowing that of the B8 S4, B6/7 S4, B5 S4, B7 RS4 and B8 S5, the only car of the bunch not yet in the 11s is the miraculous B8 S4. You know all that though because you know all about the 4.2.


Again though...I'm not here to say what car is better because they're all great. That's up to everyone to decide what's 'best' for them. I just won't listen while you speak absolute nonsense on things you know very little about.

All in all, I just think you're making my points for me, so I'll sit back and let you do that.

I hear what you are saying Saki. Name calling may not be warranted though but hey everyone seems to be "gangster" on the internet forums. I was talking of a STOCK 4.2 in your vehicle as well as a STOCK 4.2 in the RS4. And while it may be a 50k new car I paid well enough below that to warrant me not buying the RS4 (which was one of my dream vehicles).

Oh and as far as the RS5, I think it is an amazing vehicle and truly would love to have one but it would upset me just a little that every article I have read and people that I have heard drove them were not as impressed as they were with other vehicles in that price range. the latest article showing the outdated and on its way out BMW M3 powerplant still besting the newest rendition of this 4.2 (that hopefully is on its way out for the 4.0T)

Im not insulting you or running around saying anything other than JHM should make something for our cars. Hopefully they do one day. You seem way too defensive with your beliefs on your platform which may be why to some people you come off like an arrogant dick. I understood how you are after reading a few of your posts and realize you arent, you are just educated about your car and all the other renditions of its powerplant and want others to be the same. I dont give a fuck about the B6/B7 S4, like you I have told many of my buddies to pick one up when they were shopping. One of my buddies picked up a B6 recently I drove it and enjoyed it.


Ill keep driving my car and enjoying it until i move to the next gen RS4 if it ever makes it here or another car that puts together a V8 and FI. In the end these are toys and there will always be better toys out there.


Edit: Actually Im gonna buy a GTR in 2 years when my buddy returns it off lease. Carbon black all options, garage kept and he barely drives it (only on weekends). We spoke, Im def taking it if no accidents happen.
