I will be there, but not sure with my own car or riding with someone. Depends on the weather / roads if the 3 is coming out.

before we continue I think we need to clarify some items. Angela Im sorry I wasn't clear enough. I wanted us to organize the NERD members who will show up, in conjunction with the EA members who will be with Joey and Dave we all want to run up together and if its cool park NERD and ES next to each other so all of our members and crossover members and EA friends can all be together.

Sorry.

So if it is cool with the EA guys can we all park next to each other so we can all chill together?

then can we start two lists and EA list and a NERD list in the nerd section?

I am not going to make it to this though. Going to be heading up to Limerock where I can look at cars, hang out with the owners, and watch them drive hard.

So we started a list, and now we can separate NERD and EA. Still don't see what I did wrong. But whatever. And I think it's safe to assume that everyone would be perfectly fine with that.
I also don't appreciate being unnecessarily yelled at over a forum, for something that is so unimportant, and needed to be done anyway.

I think the point here is that Defrost has become a tradition for NERD and many enthusiasts as the season opener. Tracking sounds great but its hard to sway when Defrost has become what it is for the community over here. Its not just about watching cars or else shows would have become plaid a long time ago, its about meeting new peeps that share the same enthusiasm for cars as you do, catching up with "show" friends you have made in the years past, checking how cars from the past year have progressed and hanging out with your current friends and crew

TJ - i am aware of what a show entails... and i also understand its a NERD thing, thats fine. I was hoping more people would show support of the Motorsport aspects of this website, thats all...

I guess its just me but eitherway i think its more exciting and cooler to see cars driven rather than watch cars parked....

john! im all for the motorsports. i just wish mr.winter didnt break me. ill make a few races this year but most likely a viewer. youll have my support and pit assistance when i can make it.

i most likely wont make dod in the gli. but i have obligations to the group to make the season opener. if i didnt id be there

I should have my entire schedule ironed out by weeks end. I have been discussing tracks with my brother and we were able to pretty much decide on 6 events which bring us right into the fall.

I hope one of them does not coincide with another Show Event.

I really want to attend DOD too,but the lure of a track day at Lime Rock was just too great! Getting a chance to blast down Lime Rock is something that I've wanted to do for a very long time and I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

TJ,I think you usually go to this show. Are you(or anyone one from NERD) going to make the Dustoff at Seekonk Speedway this year? This will probably be the first show of the year for me. Not sure of the date,but the Dustoff is pretty early in the show season too,correct?

We are definitely considering going to the Dustoff this year, we were in Boston last year the same weekend of the Dustoff but didnt make it out because of the crappy weather. We figured we tour the city a bit more instead of spending the day in the rain @ the Dustoff. It looks like we will be doing the same thing this year, for some reason the GF loves Boston but lives in NY (go figure) and likes to head up to boston around her bday, so hopefully the show wont be rained out again

We booked a room last year for about $80 bucks a night just outside of harvard square in Boston on the weekend of the Marathon & Paul Revere weekend. i can imagine how cheap it could be in the burbs, so if any NERDs wanna take the trek, split a room and it becomes a super cheap weekend.
