    Default 034 motorsports=FAIL...my worst experience in 16yrs of motorsports

    ive been building,racing,fixing and driving vvw's and audi's for over 16yrs. recently on my way to work i rocketed my southbend clutch. in a rush and needing a car i called 034 motorsports and ordered a spec stg3+ and 3 inch downpipe without a cat. i paid 500.00 to overnight the parts to ny. well 2 days later i recieved a downpipe with a cat(wrong item) and 5 days late i recieved my clutch.

    i called 034 on numerous occasions and got nothing but the run around. they blamed everyone else including spec on my issue and not taking any blame on the issue. i asked for a credit back on my card or store credit and was told "i was sent a more expensive downpipe so i made out on the deal". really....i made out. i had to pay for a rental car for 5 days and am out $500 on shipping. so actually no!!...then they offered 5-10% off on my next purchase. that would be great but to get my 500 back id need to spend multiple 1000's of dollars to break even.

    so at that i would NEVER purchase from 034 motorsports and highly recommend that anyone who reads this be careful. dont fall victim to a poor company.

    I would've escalated the situation, especially if I was ass'd out rental fees due to THEIR incompetence.

    That sucks man. They should own up to this issue. If the clutch and downpipe were in stock and you paid for overnight shipping there is no excuse for the items to arrive more than 2 days later. That is an absolute ripoff and you should be compensated for it.

    Sorry to hear about this Tommy, one thing that is totally unacceptable is raping people on shipping charges and then not sending it out on time/sending out the wrong item. If I were you I would raise hell

    I think they "drop ship" I believe is the term. I ordered a Spec Clutch among other parts. Got the other parts then I day or two later got the clutch. Screwed my weekend project up a little.

    When I got my 034 UCA's, they shipped one of 4 control arms, but one there was something like DF (driver front), DR, PR, PR and no PF (passenger front). I didn't catch this and neither did my install shop, until my car was on the rack with the suspension apart.

    So my shop needed the part overnighted to say the least as it was taking up valuable shop time, so I 034 charged me $40 to overnight to fix their mistake. JHM was nice enough to give me a $40 credit with them since I technically ordered it through them, but JHM never touched or saw the products as they shipped directly from 034 to me.

    The parts were very high quality, but seeing as I was one of the very first 034 UCA B6/7 guys, you would have thought they would have been happy to fix their mistake on their own. I was just happy JHM stepped up and helped me out when they really didn't have to.

    That's horseshit, there is no excuse for them fucking up to that extent, the least they could do if give you a credit for all the money you lost with shipping, I mean it wouldn't be as much a lose for them as you since they'd only be paying cost for the items

    thats exactly what the term is. I was tryign to think of it yesterday too..
    I think the worste part about Tommy's whole thing is that the spec clutch was coming from an East Coast Supplier and they still fucked up!

    Unfortunately, not too many companies take responsibility for their own mistakes anymore.... Been there with a local company whom I'm not going to mention.

    Learn from tommy's experience.

    I had an issue with these pricks as well. They're fucked up all the way around. Customer service sucks, sales sucks, they suck. I would never in my life buy shit from them.

    I'm in the process of disputing a c/c charge from them. I had a problem with their 02 spacers for the cats I bought. They claimed that they had never heard of the issue and made me feel like it was my fault. I posted online about it then I started getting PM's from other people who had the problem. 034 wouldn't ship replacements or do anything to help me and just denied the whole thing and said they had never heard of it. Then this one motherfucker from 034 goes into a thread and acknowledges the problem. I'm like, yo motherfucker, how are you going to lie to me on the phone and then come on here and acknowledge the issue?

    They overcharged me and it took 2 weeks and 3 calls to their accounting department to get a refund on my credit card.

    Dan Eckerman offered me 10% off my order if I ordered the B8 HFC's then when I ordered them he sent charged me in full and sent me a credit memo for a store credit. I had to threaten to cancel the order to get the DISCOUNT that he promised. Discount and store credit are two very different things. The guy was a total smart ass and I would have put my fist through his fucking cheek bone had I been there in person at the time.

    I am the VP of Sales where I work and I can tell you that every person I encountered at 034 was inept and not customer driven. This type of wholesale shitty customer service can only come from one place......the top.


    They were so shitty that I emailed Todd at AWE to thank him for his good service afterwards. AWE has always been stand up and good to me and dealing with 034 made me appreciate it a lot more.

    034 is not looking well across the forums.... There HFC for the B8 models are trash.... Then they blame other factors for it, pull the item and say they will rerelease them when software issues fixed.... not good. I will never order anything they make

    Ohhh helll...I ordered a simple stainless steel engine cover for my B5 A4 and it would not sit flush on the engine...I twisted, turned, flipped and nothing...I thought this was because of me. Come on, a tuner company like 034 mess up like that??? I had to grind down some engine bolt supports so it will "fit" as best asit can. Never, NEVER, had any problems with Neuspeed or any other companies.... WOW...and I was just gonna buy some more parts from them, thanks to saving me the heart and headache....
