    Default Cars you've owned

List the cars you have owned since getting your license.

List modifications, why purchased, why sold, likes, didn't like.

I am going to have a tough time remembering so I will add on day by day.

    Apr 98- Aug 98
1985 Nissan Maxima - 6cyl, auto, maroon where there was actually paint and the bondo didn't come off. This one had the digital dash and it actually talked. It would say "seat belt not on", "door is ajar" and all kinds of other useless annoying shit. The problem was the door sensor was broken and whenever I drove it the computer would keep saying "door is ajar"
Mods: 2 12" speakers in the truck ghetto rigged to a stock radio through the rear speakers.

    Aug 98 - Nov 98
1985 Nissan maxima - Same as above but gray and in really good condition.

    Mar 99 - Sep 00
1992 Nissan Maxima GXE - 6cyl, auto, maroon.
Mods: 2 10" speakers in a bandpass box.

    Sep 01 - Apr 02
1995 Nissan Maxima Se - Loved this car, first car I actually started tinkering with.
Mod: eibach / tokico, speakers and subs, tranmission shift kit, wheels, cai, lighting bullshit, ypipe / downpipes.
All I cared about was looks. Car did 15.6 @ 86

    Apr02
    1991 Galant VR-4:
Metal head gasket, oversize valves, s16g turbo, supra mkiv IC, 550cc injectors, s-afc, ACT2600 clutch and tons of duct tip and zip ties.
All I wanted here was speed, ugly as shit this car. This was my FAVORITE car and i regret parting it out.
    12.9 @ 109 with a 1.9' on a spare trans

    1998.5 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
    5 speed, GIAC chip
Loved this car but gearing was too short. At 80mph it screams at 4100rpm.

    1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
    Winter Truck

    2000 Audi S4 Nogaro sport
    6spd, chipped, dv, hoses

    1998 HONDA ACCORD
    4CYL, 5 SPEED
    BEST CAR IN THE WORLD!!!

    1992 Plymouth Laser
Turbo AWD, tons of mods, another car I really regret selling

    2002 Nissan Maxima SE
Pearl White on Tan, 6 speed with all options
I regret selling this car also

    2000 Audi A6 2.7T - Ming Blue
6 speed, chipped, gutted dp's, dv, hoses

2000 Audi S4 Nogaro Sport (Yes I bought an identical car as my first one)
More mods then before, Stage whatever plus 2

    2000 BMW M5
I finally learned my lesson and bought a Bimmer.

    1999 Honda CRV
    Winter Truck

I rarely keep a car for more then 1.5 years and I've had 2 cars 75% of the time, I'm an old man at 28 so that's 11 years of swapping cars since I got my license.
I've bought and sold lots of other cars but these are the ones I have actually driven.

I'll keep it to my recent Euros:

    Starting in December of 2007:

    First: 2004 A4 1.8T Ultrasport - 6 speed
    Mods: APR 93 Chip
Why: Escalade was only getting 13mpg!
Sold: I wanted more power and didnt want to go too crazy modding since it was a CPO

    Second: 2007 A4 2.0T - 6 speed
Mods: APR K04, AWE Front Mount, Front Brembos, AWE Quad tip, Carbonio, Vogtland Springs, Cupra lip, Podi Gauge, CF rear valance, APR snub, and a ton more little mods
Why: Was looking for a B6 S4 and found this, loved my last Audi and bought it.
Sold: Wanted more power and had pretty much tapped out the platform with available parts w/ out going custom

    Third: 2000 S4 - 6 speed
Mods: APR Downpipes, APR 93 Chip, Tein shocks, Eibach Springs, Short Shifter, RS4 Clutch, RS4 motor mounts
Why: Why not? Always wanted a B5 S4, asked Joey what he was doing with his, he said selling, so I bought it the next day.
Sold: Wanted to move into something different

    Fourth: 2004 S4 - 6 speed
    Mods: Carbonio, CF wrapped trim
Why: Always wanted a Nogaro S4, found one, bought it with one of my best friends.
Sold: I have only been pulled over 4 times, twice was in this car in the first month of owning it.

    Fifth: 2005 S4 - Auto
Mods: PES Stage 2 S/C, JHM longtube headers, AWE catback, JHM LW F&R rotors, JHM intake spacers, Carbonio, Meth injection, VMR 710's, Pioneer Avic D3, HKS camp 2 w/ boost reading, Euro RS4 wheel, RS6 pedals and shift knob, Rieger front bumper (looking to trade for a stock), Bi xenon e-codes, and a few more small things
Why: Was looking for a Porsche, found this and figured I'd get some real data from the S/C since most seems to be biased
Sold: Had my fun and was time to move on

    Sixth: 2002 BMW M3 - SMG
Mods: 19" CSL Reps w/ PS2's, SS Stepped Headers, Custom Section 1 w/ race cats, Rogue X-pipe w/ EVC Kit, Rogue Titanium tipped El Diablo, ECIS Intake, RPI Scoops, Rogue Intake Boot, Dynavin
Why: Wanted a fun car to get around in as I part out the S4 that would also help EA grow into other brands
Sold: Needed a 4 door for work

    Seventh: 2007 BMW 335i - 6 speed
Mods: Vishnu Procede V3, H&R Race Spring, E90 M3 18" Wheels, M3 Carbon Fiber hood, Fabspeed catless downpipes, aFe Stage 2 intake, 18" BBS RS-GT's
Why: Needed a 4 door for work, 335 fit the bill and I found the car with every option I wanted
Sold: Wanted to upgrade to an M5

    Eighth: 2005 S4 Convertible - Tiptronic
    Mods: Upgraded JL speakers
Why: Summer time was coming, what better excuse to get a convertible?
    Sold: Had my fun

    Ninth: 2006 BMW M5 - SMG
Mods: Active Autowerke Catback, Eibach Springs, 35% Tint, DMH Cutouts
Why: Instead of modding sedans to get 500hp, why not buy one that has it stock?

    Tenth: 2005 Lotus Elise - 6 speed
Mods: Tinted windows, Color matched center console and brakes
Why: Wanted a track car and figured I'd start off with a great platform
Sold: Winter was coming and I figured I'd buy something else in the spring

    Eleventh: 2004 Nogaro on Nogaro S4 - 6 Speed
    Mods: VMR 710's
    Why: Helped a friend out
Sold: Purpose of buying was to sell

    Twelth: 2005 A4 1.8T Ultrasport - Tip
Mods: APR 93 Chip, APR DV
Why: Couldn't pass up a good deal! Bought it to give to my sis since she crashed her beetle

    Thirteenth: 1987 BMW 325is - 5 speed
Mods: S50 Motor swap, ZF 5 speed, TC Klines, BBS RS's, M-Tech 1 body, Recaro SRD's
Why: Always wanted an E30 and this would make a good track car

    1st car - 1995 Mustang GT. Automatic.
Likes: Looked nice at the time?
Dislikes: Slow. Uncomfortable. Horrid build quality.
    Traded it in.

    2nd car - 2003 Mustang Cobra.
Mods: Pullied, chipped, intake, exhaust, etc.
Like: Stupid fast. Looked amazing(still love the way they look). Won numerous car shows with it.
Disliked: Still bad body and interior build quality. Paint displayed orange peel effect. Wallowed through corners, even with the IRS. Couldnt launch worth a damn because of IRS.
Stolen. Did'nt have GAP insurance, got very little money from insurance co.

3rd car - 1998 SVT Contour. Needed something to commute from VT to CT every weekend in. Served its purpose.
Mods: Koni sport suspension, upgraded brakes, CAI, headers, exhaust.
Likes: Very solid car. Uber-comfy seats. Basically a euro import(mondeo), so build quality was pretty good.
    Dislike: Awful gas mileage. Underpowered.
Sold because it was getting old.

    4th car - 2001 Subaru Impreza RS.
Mods: Swapped in JDM 2.0l Ver8 Sti motor, transmission, diffs, etc. Bilstein coilovers, Group N tophats, STi sways, etc. Little over 300hp at the wheels in a 2800lb car made a VERY fast car.
Likes: Twin-scoll turbo made it sound like no other subie. Rev limit was 8500rpm. Boost hit at around 2500RPM and it went like a bat outta hell from there on out.
Dislike: Stock RS interior wasnt the best, never had a chance to change it out. Felt like riding around in a tin can with a rocket motor attached.

Parted it out and got -

5th car - 2005 S4. The current car. Best car ive ever owned.
Mods: FI 8" Res Cat-Back, Cayenne calipers w/JHM rotors & HPS pads, V708's w/RE01R, E-codes and HID fogs.
Likes: Everything. I really have nothing i dont like about the car.
Dislikes: Again, nothing i really dislike. I guess id like more power, but who wouldnt?

It's cool to see how people shift between varies types of cars until they find what they like.

Or some people never find what they like.

    Trent:
Good choice on the E92 335i.
At least once a day my mind wanders into a E60 535xi.

    Dave:
When are you going to own a fast audi?

    Lots of S4 fanboys here.
As much as I loved my S4 when I owned it, I will NEVER buy another one.
Maybe the B6-B7 cars are that much better, I probably won't find out.

Anthony, i had my eyes set on a E60 5-series but then i test drove one and realized im just not ready for that big and slow (relatively speaking) of a car yet. In the later years! They are very nice though, and some of the best looking bmws. I HATE the e92 sedans, they are ugly, i think the coupe is tonss better.

Technically there is no such thing as an E92 Sedan.
    E92 = 3 Series Coupe
    E91 = 3 Series Wagon
    E90 = 3 Series Sedan

    ill play!!!

    1st car 85 civic carbed...
lowered the little guy.. Straight throught exhaust, some lil 14" rims, custom
    cut springs, webber carb kit...
couldnt even drive it over a speed bump...
fun in the snow... considering the height...
color was the reason i bought it Lima Green with a 90si black interior..
what a PIA to warm up in the winter... had to pump the pedal 4 times and let it warm for like 15minutes... Or Driving would suck..

    2nd car was the beast
    90 Talon TSI AWD..
simply just state all bolt ons. some piggy back computers and some TLC had the little guy running 11sec 1/4miles.. but built it for road course racing..
    lil Pocono and Lime Rock..
ps Tommy thought his MKIII golf could keep up... until he realized since it was the last race of the day i was taking it easy...
sold it to someone form school and he wrecked it 1 week later..
what a mistake... some people just cant handle the power...

    3rd car 90 Si
bought the car in Jersey City on the drive home alternator goes in the rain...
so that was fun coming all the way home and not using anythign electrical.. AWESOME!!!!
Lowered 3.5", sprint springs and Tokicos, custom Exhaust with a nice fart can, (VERY LOUD) an Intake that could suck a bird in, 98SI rims, had some 17" on there @ some point tuff to fit with a 3.5" drop but got them to tuck nicely...
CAR WAS NOTHING BUT BAD LUCK!!!
was impouded 7 times, got me a lot of tickets...
ran the car without oil for 2 months just to blow the motor!! took a long time but it was fun...
sold the Interior for $500 and the shell for $400 so i am not complaining...

    4th car 2000 Galant...
    what a lemon!!
when you turned the whipers on the windows went down!!
    very usefull in the rain...

    5th car 95 Jetta White

My list sort of sucks but here goes:

    1st Car - 1993 Civic EX Coupe
    Color:
    Black on Tan
    Mods:
    Tint
    JBL Components
    (2) 10" Cerwin Vega subs
    Sony Mobile ES Amp
Sony Mobile ES Headunit with 10 CD Changer in trunk
    No engine mods
Sold it when I went to college

    2nd Car - My Mom's 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee
    Mods:
Moved stereo from Honda into Jeep
    K&N Air Filter
Sold it to a soldier who took it to Germany once I graduated from college

    3rd Car - My Dad's 1997 Acura 3.5 RL
    Mods:
It was a boat and had 150k on the clock when I got it, so none.
Sold it to buy what I drive now

    4th Car (current) - 2006 S4
    Mods:
They're in my signature and still going.

The Audi was the first car I bought myself. I was pretty spoiled in that I never had to buy a car until I decided to buy one this past year. Truth be told, that Acura may have run for another 20 years, but I knew I was one repair away from having to spend more than the car was worth to fix.

color was the reason i bought it Lima Green with a 90si black interior..
what a PIA to warm up in the winter... had to pump the pedal 4 times and let it warm for like 15minutes...

    4th car 2000 Galant...
    what a lemon!!
when you turned the whipers on the windows went down!!
    very usefull in the rain...

and a 3 piece CAI... sounds nice....
got to love the VR prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsss...
