Joey/Dave - any new news to provide? I think we have enough people, maybe even in this thread alone, to afford it. Lets make it happen?

What do we need to do next?

All of my contacts yeilded nothing. Nobody wants to rent a runway around here for a few thousands bucks for the day to take on so much liability. I talked to Dave about seeing if he could make a few calls but i don't know if he has gotten anywhere with it. Any input Dave?

Seems like a runway event might be a little difficult, we might have to settle for renting the track down at englishtown for the day.

Joey another thought would be to see if we can rent NJ Motorsport Park in Millville. They have two tracks and i know they rent privately.

I agree and the level of difficulty at that track is not too bad..... i just cannot wait to get on the track again.

Found out about this event in a recent issue of Hot Rod magazine. It's run on an abandond airfield in the backwoods of Maine.(a little remote,I know...)

Looks interesting, but might be a little restrictive. 135 mph for is the max speed limit for non-caged cars. I know for a fact that my car can reach over 135 mph. I'm pretty sure I could exceed that within 2.5 miles. Might be worth a look tho.

Greg - first of all the car is alive! ripped it a little today in the rain (slowly...)

I would love to do this but 135 is weak.... haha. I also know my car can exceed 135 and in a lot less distance than this airfield.

I think we need to rent a track, that may be the only way Joey takes his track car to the track...
