    Default 91 Alpine White GLI

    Hey guys!

    Picked up this clean ride a few months ago.

    Been slowly replacing parts as needed all over the car.

    Took me awhile to find this color, and one that wasn't all f'd up or a trashed title. 131k miles on body, 60k on ABA 95 2.0L swap. Plan is to utilize the ABA and go ABF, but... I'm leaning towards a 1.8t the more I think about it, need more powa! Liking the 27mpg though in the meanwhile

    I've been on the hunt for a Trophy Recaro full interior since I picked this up. Found a mint rear bench, and I'm still searching like crazy for the pwr door cards, and front seats. Had all original grey recaro's, in 9/10 shape, lucked out with the condition of the car overall, super clean!

    I found a really clean set of BBS RM 2 piece that I had refinished, new caps etc. Would like to get some lips for it, not anything crazy, just 1-1.5 (7-8" total) or so to widen the stance a bit, stock they are 6.5". Need coils first.

    I'll check in as I continue the build. Kinda slow right now, in the process of selling my house and moving on up to make room for more kids

    Thanks for the comments!! I'll work on more pictures, kind of the one thing I've been slacking on with this car really. I have several hundred of my S4, but only a handful of this car. White seems to get dirty quick in Oregon

    Update:
    Found a few MK2's at the Pick'n Pull off Columbia Blvd this weekend (was my first time at that location). Two mk2 jetta's had full black pillar interior (c included) w/adjustable b pillar belts. Snagged some cool stuff. Always nice to find parts cheap!

    Sorry for the delay in more pictures, crazy few weeks with work, and having our house on the market to sell. Nonstop cleaning and no time for the GLI recently.

    Here is more pics from today. As noted up top in this post, I've been on the hunt for a full Trophy Recaro interior for the last few months. This week turned out to be the lucky one!

    This week I bought a mint condition set of front trophy power seats locally (lucked out big time), and another rear trophy bench, part of the same set.

    So I'm now in the process of selling off my old full GLI grey recaro interior, and the extra trophy rear bench I had. I installed the best rear bench pieces in my car Cool thing about the swap is I'll only be in the trophy recaro full setup $300 after I sell off my old interior, and extra trophy bench.

    You should see the grin on my face, pretty damn happy!

    As you can see I'm just about done with the interior. I have the dark grey/black headliner, sunvisors, window crank surround, sunroof seal, and sunroof headliner all in the garage, just to lazy to install it all - the headliner is so fragile, kinda scared to install it.
