Default My First None German Ride

I just wanted to show you guys my new bike I picked up mostly as a project and just something to fuck around on and it honestly is the most fun Ive ever had on the street.
Its an 09 Suzuki DRZ400sm in white with a little over 6k miles
The bike has the usual 3x3 airbox mod, Yoshi pipe and silencer, DynoJet jet kit, Hotcams Stage 1, carbon fiber skid plate and side guards, steering stabilizer, full throttle rear handbrake kit, and some other stuff
I have already ordered a bunch of maintenance items like the MCCT, loctited everything, changed the plug, oil and filter, did some fixes like with the levers, shortened the yoshi silencer, and want the check the valves and throw in an FCR 39 before the spring
By the time spring comes around with everything I have planned I should have over 50hp at the wheel
Anyway here are some pictures so far, still a long way to go before the spring

Anyone else on the site ride?

Started doing some work tonite when I got home from work, i stripped off all of the graphics i didnt want (the factory tank graphics are cleared over), replaced all the brake lines with SS, did a coolant flush and changed to silicone hoses, finished chopping my yoshimura RS-2 exhaust to get the look i want, trimmed the rear number plates (still waiting to do the left side as i purchased a battery 1/3 of stock size to put in the air box and the current battery is right in that location, ordered new longer shift lever, setup the suspension to my weight, and got her registered and insured and good to go.
I also had a really good race bike graphics designer Kruzel design me a custom set of graphics that sort of look like that white lambo that had the sharpie design on it? should be in next week alone with a bigger carb. By spring it should all set making about 50hp at the rear wheel and look like nothing else on the road
Let me know what you guys think so far (sorry for a crappy picture)

    Sick looking DRZ.

Where abouts do you live? I ask b/c I thought my old Tard was the shit ripping around the city when at college, however it quickly became a dog when I went out for rides around Sussex County with my buddies who all own CBR's, GSXR's etc.... I came from an SV650 for reference.

I still want one for the fun and Indestructible factor though!

Wow, that thing's looking great! I'm definitely digging the graphics--they do remind me of the sharpie lambo.

    Thanks guys
I am up in westchester county like 10 mins from the bear mtn meet spot, this thing is a lot of fun I originally bought it to just fix up and sell now i dont want to get rid of it, ive taken on the roads that go around the reservoirs up here is it is just too much fun, i have some dual compound pilot powers coming in so after that it should be perfect
As for bringing it in the apartment I leave the french doors in my basement open when i take it out which is for like 5 mins since its freezing out and just ride in and out, its so light i can just drag it around my basement to work on it, wish i could take the car inside like that lol
MRD how are you liking the 450, i cant decide it i want to throw more money into this went i start to get bored of it or just get a bigger bike like a ktm or husky
