    Hey, sorry for the late reply. It's a 15 min job and really easy. I have Tiptronic transmission so I'm assuming it's really really similiar for manual. Dead pedal and brake pedals would have to be taken off and replaced with these(RS4 ones). The gas pedal stays though, you just have to snap the new one on top of it, but make sure you put it on correctly and it locked on all four sides. Trust me you don't want to have a loose pedal while you're driving. They're OEM pedals, same as you would get at the stealership, but at the cheapest price I ever saw for a new set.

    You need a VAG-COM or a generic OBD-II reader. Advance Auto or a similar store will pull the codes for you. If not, look for someone local to scan the car.
