    Default The Blue Bug

    My youngest sister has wanted a blue bug since she was about 8 years old, I bought her a Blue Bug radio from Sharper Image back in the day and she always said that would be the first car she bought. So the time came about 2 weeks ago where she had saved enough and was ready to seriously look. I went out and searched all the dealers in the tri-state for a specific blue bug and found a 2007 with 25k miles on it at Trend Motors. I called them up and setup and appointment for that evening. We drove out and they had the car sitting out front waiting for us, the salesman Chris was very helpful and made the process easy. A few of the techs there recognized the NERD sticker on my car and they were very friendly and we actually ended up having our booth back up on theirs at Waterfest. Overall it was a smooth process and it helped that the people there were true enthusiasts as well. Anyways, heres a pic of her purchase:

    Congrats on being a good brother! What engine is in that? IIRC the US models were 2.5L 5-bangers only for the 2007 MY. So I'm guessing the mods for the engine are similar to our 4.2's... exhaust, tune, LW spinny things, mani, headers...
