Welcome! I was standing next to that silver E46 in the pic you put up of yourself and then rode shotgun in it for the first 3 legs. Your car sounds great man!

Welcome! I loved your car at the run. We will hopefully have a nice user base of Porsche members as soon as i find the right car and start on some DIY content. Glad to have you here

there was a car for sale that looked just like that in my neighbourhood

    a) it was a 99 or 00 (had the old badge and the body colour mirrors)
    b) it was pretty much stock inside and out...no intercooler or anything, and stock seats
    c) it had those same wheels and was also santorin

I wanted to buy it, because it looked so good, and sat there on sale forever.

    Those OZ wheels...

Keskin KT1's are the closest match I think, wanted to run those on my 'rado at one point.

the closest you can get is the OZ futuras, these are Hamman PGs which were made by OZ. I love OZ wheels, not overpriced and can take a beating like no other

I was a bit too confident on the cayman, lost control on a turn with the traction control off and was not able to recoup from it. The insurance decided it was cheaper to total it than to fix it even though the frame was not damaged.

The 996TT has a lot of goodies,
    GT28 turbos
Giac 650 tune (I need the 700 to get more power out of the car)
Cargraphic exhaust, 100 cell cats, and headers
    Plenun and larger throtle body
    FVD intakes piping
    custom wastegates
    custom fuel pump
    RWD conversion
    GT2 clutch
    JIC cross coilovers
    and lots more

the car is pretty solid as it is but I need to upgrade the tune, get 70lb injectors and a Hitachi MAF and the car will be running at its full potential

The 650 tune is for k24 turbos and does about 580 rwd with a few extra mods other than the kit. My car pretty much has the Evoms 700 kit but with a few extra things minus tune injectors and maf... Hopefully I can accomplish my goal

So much win with the 6tt! I really don't know where you can use half of that hp on the road... I am having a very hard time keeping out of trouble in the GT3.

haha tell me about it, I'll probably start doing some sort of racing this summer to use the power. I always felt the cayman lacked power so now I am over compansating for it lol the good thing is the car could be daily driven if I wanted to since it is quite docile at low boost
