How much was the gas card worth? I left shortly after receiving the 8 of hearts to complete my queen high. Couldn't even make a pair![]()
"No, douchebags that have a ton of stickers (DOPE and shocker), neon colored wheels, and flat bill hats with "I heart haters" printed on them say hella. This stanced, hellaflush ******ry is so annoying and never happened until these cars started being priced below $15k." -Fourplay

By the way, Dave Lopez, where were you yesterday?! Hope he sees this.

Hey all!
This has been a little overdue, but it has been a little hectic around here with the holidays and such. First off, on behalf of Royal Flush Rallies and the Golden Fund for Autism we would like to THANK EVERYONE for their generous support and donations for this event.
In total we were able to raise $3800 to donate to the Golden Fund for Autism. The fund was ecstatic to hear how successful the rally turned out. We have learned that your generous donations will be going to two families in need this holiday season. We are so happy that we are able to put these donations to good use. It is really something special to be proud of knowing that you all are making a difference in peoples lives. This is what RFR is all about, getting together to enjoy your passion all while support a good cause. It really doesn't get much better than that and we thank you all so very very much for support our cause.
(All sensitive check information has been censored. There are several checks there that total the $3800, the large check being all of the cash donations collected from the event)
Event Shirts: We still have some shirts leftover from the Rally. Both Long-Sleeve ($20) and Short Sleeve ($10). Please PM me to inquire.
We would also like to take the time to thank our sponsors who also contributed to the success of the event. With their help we were able to keep the costs of the rally down for items such as the event shirts, decals, and cards. By covering the expenses of the event we are therefore able to donate much more to the charity organization. Please take the time to show your support for our sponsors by checking them out below.
Event in a few words
Overall the event was a huge success. We registered just over 100 cars that had participated in total. The weather turned out to be very nice (a little cold, but sunny nonetheless). There were a few little mishaps during the first leg of the run, but accidents happen when you have a large volume of cars together. Unfortunately after the incident the NJ State Troopers caught wind of what was going on and made it a mission to make examples of some of the drivers. To those who were stopped we apologies and hope it did not ruin your day. After we got out of NJ it was smooth sailing all the way until the end of the rally where we were presented with some more bad news. It seems that GPNY is more concerned with making a dollar than holding their word and keeping their reputation. We were promised track time weeks in advance shortly after we arrived, but learned on the DAY OF the event (20 min before we got there) that all of the carts had been taken to an off-site local for an event and wouldn't be returning for 2-3 hours after we had gotten there. Not so much as a phone call had been made to us about this situation so we could adjust our plan. Now I realize we did not have the track reserved as we could not guarantee how many people would be racing, but you would think that they would be a little more gratuitous to a charity event that was scheduled weeks ago who was bringing in business of an expected 80+ cars. Very poor business practices on their part and we were very disappointed how we were treated. Again, we apologize to all of you as I know many were excited to race at GPNY, but nobody had the slightest idea that they would pull something like that. In all though we made the best of it and ended the rally on a high note raising close to 4k for the GFA, that to me is a success in my book.
Feedback
We are always looking for feedback on the runs to make them better for everyone in the future. If you have any opinions on what was good / what was bad, what we can change or what we can do better, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us to share your thoughts. You can send your feedback to royalflushrallies@gmail.com
Some things to consider:
- Roads: Too short? Too Long? Too much Highway? Too much backroad? Just Perfect?
- Time at stops: Too Short? Too Long?
- Stop Locations: Convenient and Easy to get in / out? Bad Stops?
- Direction Sheets: Excellent and Detailed? Other Thoughts?
- Price for Participation: Too much? Too little? Just Right?
- Anything else you can think of or would like to share
Upcoming for RFR
- 501c3 Non-Profit: RFR is in the process of filing as a 501c3 non-profit organization. We hope to have everything set by next rally season. This will enable us to receive larger donations from corporations and other entities that will in turn make the rally better for everyone involved.
- RFR Website: We hope to re-launch our new website within the next couple of months. This will be the focal point for all news and information on the rallies. We are also hoping to introduce an automated registration page on our site to register participants for the rallys. This will eliminate the need to do everything the morning of (no more standing in line and waiting for all of your stuff. More news on this soon).
- 2011 Season: We hope to have our first event of the season in late May / early June. Check back for more information
That seems to be it for now. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You all very much for participating and making our events a success. Without you we would not be able to make this happen. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
Happy Holidays,
RFR Staff

JUST A SUGGESTION please don't jump all over me.One thing I noticed even always being just a passenger. I think we need to space the departure of cars out more so no one is jammed at the on ramps and then at the exit ramps. After doing 4 of these, I see that this is one of the biggest issues. The 5 seconds of card distribution isn't cutting it. I know you're trying to move it along but we all know how everyone drives and if they choose to wait for their buddies then they choose to wait. But the ramps are getting a bit scary at times especially with other drivers on the road, and we all know they love the sight of these cars racing at their bumpers.
Just my .02.
Either way, I was so happy I got to participate in this run. I consider these one of the best days of the car season. Always meeting new people seeing new places and enjoying the work everyone has put into their cars this year.
As for Joey and Anthony, if you guys need help doing anything, just ask. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand again.
Damn dude, $3800
I'll post up more detailed thoughts later, but just wanted to say again it was a great time and I'm really glad I got to make it down to one finally.

Def a great number we hit, but i think we can always do better. This is why were making it a registered non-profit so we can get corporations and big businesses to donate. A lot won't donate because we aren't registered. By doing so we can hopefully double those numbers eventually.

^Sounds good. Can't wait for the next one to roll around.

doing something good, and driving. two awesome things.

Yes! Great idea. I would love to see if I could get my work to donate(as well as friends and family) but they probably would not unless it is for a non-profit organization.
One suggestion. This may have been by design since it is a "rally" but stop location address' were slightly vague and I didn't see zipcodes for the address' listed. The turn by turn instructions were good but not knowing the area and not having a co pilot I was very dependant upon having to follow other cars who knew the route a lot better than me. If I lost the group and had to rely on the turn by turn instructions while driving,I think I probably would have had a difficult time finding the next stop. By providing the zipcode, someone who might get lost could use their GPS to find the next stop. (i realize its not always necessary to have the zip for GPS to find an address but it makes it a lot easier)
So when is the next rally!!!![]()
This is pretty overdue. Spot yourself!
