    Default P car BBK kit

Can I install the JHM BBK calipers on my my smaller JHM 2 piece rotors?

its like 5mm diffference between the two...

    Or will this cause issues?

sounds like a bad idea...definitely will be some overlap as the porsche calipers are like twice the size (and the pads are about 3 times the size).

It's going to save you what...300-400 bucks? Just sell your JHM LW rotors used, and buy the full kit proper sized.

Or, just wait till you burn out these JHM LW rotors and then step up

call JHM directly...maybe you can just buy a set of Porsche BBK sized LW rotor rings and swap them in (if they use the same exact hats on their JHM OEM sized LW + the JHM BBK sized LW rotors.

Ancillerary question, does anyone know if there has been any issues in regards to fitting the spare on with the P JHM BBK?

You will need at least a 3mm spacer to work with the stock 18" avus wheels.

Yeah, I know JHM recommended the 5mm spacer for the stock Avus wheels, but super curious about the spare tire and the BBK. I don't want to be in a situation where if I have to throw the spare on, it doesn't even clear the BBK which would totally suck.

It might help if you tell us what kind of spare wheel you have? The spare should be the stock avus wheel like all of the others, unless it was changed out at some point by another owner.

Ah my bad, I just assumed it was a dough nut back there. Was watching the latest Drive episode on Youtube and saw Chris Harris hoon out on a C63 w/ all 4 spares (195's) and he made a mention to Merc needing to custom make the spares to handle the caliper size. That made wonder about the spare in the back and JHM's BBK. I guess I could've checked, but car is being shipped ATM...
