It's too bad my rust is skirts and behind the fuel filler door. My removable panels are damn near perfect lol. If you have a straight white hood without 50 million dings in it I'd be interested.

No pics aka worthless post, but I'm a mkIII guy too, it's always under the knife but it's where my heart is
the 5000 is just a beater and the s4 is the new daily, comfort and ride quality that isn't familiar coming from a mkIII vr

to be honest, on the surface it doesn't look like much thus far, hence why no pics
i was into the mkIII vr all through high school but didn't actually get mine until just before college...through college the funds weren't always there
but:
diesel geek short throw front to back and side to side reduction
sequoia green
smoked sidemarkers
spoiler taken off (have the rare oettinger clamp on to think about putting on)
autotech front upper and lower stress bars
short ram intake
i had big turbo plans for the future so a rebuild was going to be necessary, and it was time for timing chains
during college i came across a steal of a brand new from vw oem longblock..this is where i'm at right now, just the hoses and electrical plugs to button it back up and get ready to start
along with this new long block i've done:
rebuilt injectors by witchhunter
all three vf mounts
masontech crack pipe
new water pump with metal impeller
samco hoses
aftermarket tensioner pulley
verdict motorsports shift bushings
new radiator
new coilpack
empi solid axles and new cv's
powdercoated some brackets black
painted the transmission black
block powdercoated black
tons of maintenance parts
there's so much money dumped in at this stage i know i'm leaving stuff out haha
future plans that i've had forever but going into motion now that i have a nice daily and post-college income:
msd conversion
schimmel short runner intake
schimmel turbo set up with awic
stand alone
full 3 in exhaust
stoptech brake kit
not decided on wheels but 16x9's probably
kw v3's
autotech sways
exterior not gonna give that away yet
interior will get the treatment
but motor comes first before the color change, exterior, and interior work
